Fun fact: I’m allergic to cheese.
So, I can never partake in any cheese and wine sessions.
Instead, I decided to create chess & wine!
The idea is to make chess more FUN! Learn in a social setting without the pressure of competition or feeling the need to learn theoretical things.
Chess can be the best social game – a place to meet new people, get creative and have fun.
My chess & wine evenings are for those who want to enjoy the best bits about chess 🙂

I’ve generally been holding the chess & wine evenings at private members’ clubs in London.
This is because I’m still on a mission to raise the profile of chess and show that it can indeed be classy and cool!

I also do private Chess & Wine events where I bring these to a venue of your choice. They’re a popular option for work socials and a sophisticated alternative for a birthday party.
I create each event completely bespoke depending on who your crowd is and what you want from the event.
I can also bring a special “celebrity” chess player if this is something you’d be into too!
